Ingredients

  • 12 Fresh Oysters – in the shell
  • Parmesan cheese (shredded)
  • Crumbled Bacon
  • Unsalted butter
  • Chopped Garlic
  • Chopped parsley, chives, thyme, and oregano

 

Preparation

Garlic Butter

  1. Mix together room temperature butter with garlic and herbs

Oysters

  1. Start with a hot grill, place unopened, fresh oysters on grate.  Cover Oysters with a moist towel.  Grill for ~2min until oysters open.
  2. Remove from grill and shuck oysters so that the oysters are de-footed and resting in the larger half of the shell.
  3. Place Oysters back on the hot grill.  Add ½ Tablespoon of herb butter on each oyster.  Cover grill.
  4. Wait until butter is bubbling.  Add parmesan and bacon to each oyster.  
  5. Wait 2 min.
  6. Serve Immediately.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Eggnog, 
  • 2 oz Dark Rum (recommend Kraken Spiced Rum)
  • Nutmeg

 

Preparation

  1. Mix rum into eggnog in chilled glass
  2. Sprinkle with nutmeg
