Ingredients
- 12 Fresh Oysters – in the shell
- Parmesan cheese (shredded)
- Crumbled Bacon
- Unsalted butter
- Chopped Garlic
- Chopped parsley, chives, thyme, and oregano
Preparation
Garlic Butter
- Mix together room temperature butter with garlic and herbs
Oysters
- Start with a hot grill, place unopened, fresh oysters on grate. Cover Oysters with a moist towel. Grill for ~2min until oysters open.
- Remove from grill and shuck oysters so that the oysters are de-footed and resting in the larger half of the shell.
- Place Oysters back on the hot grill. Add ½ Tablespoon of herb butter on each oyster. Cover grill.
- Wait until butter is bubbling. Add parmesan and bacon to each oyster.
- Wait 2 min.
- Serve Immediately.
