Happy Holidays from Allianz Partners

Ingredients

  • White chocolate
  • Shelled pistachios
  • Dried cranberries

Preparation

  1. Heat white chocolate over a double boiler (I just heat the white chocolate in a glass Pyrex bowl nested inside a sauce pan with a couple inches of simmering water)
  2. Once white chocolate is fully melted, turn off heat and mix in shelled pistachios and dried cranberries.  For thinner bark that spreads easily, use about ½ cup each of shelled pistachios and dried cranberries to each 11-12oz bag of white chocolate.
  3. Spread onto cookie sheet lined with wax paper or parchment paper.
  4. Place in refrigerator or freezer for about 20-30 minutes.
  5. Break into chunks and serve!

Ingredients

  • 1 granny smith apple
  • 1 braeburn or honeycrisp apple
  • 1 heaping cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1 bottle of crisp/bright white wine like pinot grigio
  • ½ cup white grape juice
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 can club soda
  • (rosemary sprigs and sugar for garnish)

Preparation

  1. Mix everything in a pitcher except club soda.
  2. Put in fridge for sugar to dissolve and flavors to meld (about an hour).
  3. When ready to serve, add the club soda and make garnish by lightly wetting the rosemary springs and roll them sugar—think fresh snow/frost on an evergreen tree.
  4. ENJOY.
