Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- 4 oz squares unsweetened chocolate (melt in microwave)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla – an extra dash never made it worse 😊
- 4 eggs
- 9’ baked pie shell (bake using directions for a pudding type filling)
- Whipped cream and shaved chocolate for topping
Preparation
- Cream butter; add sugar gradually – creaming well.
- Blend in melted chocolate and vanilla.
- Add in eggs one at a time beating for 5 minutes after each addition.
- Pour into cooled pie shell and chill until firm.
- Before serving top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
